HOLIDAY AIR
Privacy Policy
Last updated:
This policy explains how Holiday Air handles personal information connected with this website, inquiries and recruitment communications. It does not replace any specific notice or contract provided for an aviation service.
Who is responsible?
Holiday Airlines Costa Rica S.A., trading as Holiday Air, was incorporated in Delaware, United States on April 20, 2020 and is responsible for the personal information described here. Contact us at info@holidayair.net or +1 786-673-0640. Correspondence office: 6205 Waterford District Dr, Suite 270, Miami FL 33126, United States.
For privacy requests, email info@holidayair.net with “Privacy request” in the subject line. Please describe your request without sending identity documents unless we ask for information necessary to verify it.
Information we handle
Inquiries: your name, email address, international telephone number, message and, if supplied, the service, aircraft and type of operation you are interested in. We also receive information you choose to send by email, telephone, SMS or WhatsApp.
Recruitment: CVs and other application information you send to hhrr@holidayair.net. There is no CV upload facility on this website. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information, passport copies or payment details.
Technical information: the hosting service may record IP addresses, requested pages, dates, browser information and errors to deliver and secure the site. When an inquiry form is enabled, security controls also use a session token and a pseudonymous identifier derived from the connection IP to limit repeated requests.
On your device: the site can remember a language you select and temporarily preserve inquiry fields when you change language. These browser records are explained in the Cookie Policy. Saving a draft locally does not send it to us.
Purposes and grounds for processing
We use information to answer your questions, discuss requested services, prepare or follow up on a proposal, assess an application you send, protect the website and our communications, and meet applicable legal obligations or handle claims. Submitting an inquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing list.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing may be necessary to take steps you request before a contract, perform a contract, comply with a legal obligation, or pursue legitimate interests in responding to business communications and preventing abuse, subject to your rights. Where consent is required, we must obtain it for the relevant purpose; you may withdraw it without affecting prior lawful processing.
Contact details and a description of your request are needed to reply. Other details are optional unless marked as required in an available form. You may use the published email or telephone channels instead. This website does not make automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you.
How long information is kept
There is no single fixed retention period established for all inquiries or applications. The appropriate period depends on whether the inquiry or recruitment process is active, necessary follow-up, any resulting contractual relationship, applicable legal obligations and the need to handle claims. These criteria also apply when considering a request for deletion; a legal obligation or justified need may prevent immediate deletion.
Email copies and backups follow the arrangements and settings of the relevant systems; closing a conversation does not automatically erase every copy. You can ask info@holidayair.net about the retention of your particular inquiry or application, or request deletion. Browser storage has separate durations explained in the Cookie Policy.
Your choices and rights
You may contact info@holidayair.net to request information about our use of your data, access, correction or deletion. Depending on the law applicable to your situation, you may also have rights to object, restrict processing, obtain portable data, withdraw consent or complain to the competent data protection authority, including Costa Rica’s PRODHAB where applicable.
We will assess requests under the applicable law and may ask for proportionate information to verify identity or authority. Some information may need to be retained for legal obligations or claims. Please do not send a full identity document in an initial request.
Security and external channels
The website uses HTTPS and security controls intended to protect communications and prevent abuse. No website, email system or transmission method can guarantee absolute security. Avoid including sensitive documents or confidential operational details in an initial inquiry.
WhatsApp, social networks, map services and other linked websites have their own privacy practices. Those services receive information when you choose to use them. Our fonts and images are served locally; the site does not embed analytics, advertising pixels or interactive third-party maps.
Children and changes to this policy
The website is directed at professional and business audiences, not children. If you believe a child has supplied personal information, contact us so we can assess and address it.
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services, technology or legal obligations. The date above identifies the current text. If a change requires additional notice or consent, an updated page alone does not replace that requirement. See also our Terms and Conditions and Cookie Policy.
Optional reCAPTCHA v3 security
When enabled for the inquiry form, Google reCAPTCHA v3 helps detect automated abuse. A notice beside the form identifies its use. Google loads only when you submit an inquiry, and may receive your IP address, browser, device and interaction information and use cookies, including _GRECAPTCHA. We verify the security result before accepting the inquiry. When disabled, the website does not load this service or request Google verification; the other form protections remain active.
Google determines how information collected by its service is handled and retained under its Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. You may use our published telephone or email instead. Enabling this integration requires review of applicable privacy and cookie requirements; reading a privacy notice does not itself provide consent where consent is required.
